Nino & Carlos Bellvís were the two players interviewed on Tuesday after the training session in the Ciudad Deportiva.
The forward from Almeria was first and started by saying the game on Saturday was special as “many players will be leaving. It is the last game at home this season and I hope we will play well. We will go out to win, although this doesn't mean much, but we always try to win the three points”.
When asked about his contract with CD Tenerife, Nino stated that “we will see what happens. I am waiting for the season to finish and then we will see what happens. Being realistic it is complicated that I will still be here next year. Possibly this will be my last game but I need to talk to the club and then take a decision”.
The blue and white forward, talked about how sad the relegation made him. “Fans like those here in CD Tenerife don't deserve this, but unfortunately this is what has happened. It is a blow for everyone”.
Lastly, Nino talked about the four years he has spent in the island. What he has seen and felt playing for CD Tenerife. “I have been treated so well and have played as well as I know the whole time. I have been treated very well everywhere I have been on the island and in the stadium which has been great”.
Carlos Bellvís, started by talking about SD Ponferradina. “We have a game against another team who has been relegated which will give the youth players a chance to demonstrate they can play at this level”.
He was asked if he sees himself in the club next season to which he replied, “Lets see what happens to the players who still have a contract. Right now I am playing and we will see what happens. If I am told I have to go I will start looking in the holiday period”.
To conclude the blue and white defender talked about his playing since Amaral was coach. “I have found a rhythm. I am happy for myself but as a group it is terrible the team had been relegated. Right now we need to finish as high as we can in case there is a team who can't pay their players and e can take their place”.

Ayoze, German and Bellvis interviewed before they travel to Granada

Bellvís, Ayoze & Germán were the three players who were interviewed on Friday in the press room of the Heliodoro.
The defender from Valencia talked first, starting by saying about his condition, “I hurt myself training some days ago. I couldn't finish the match against the ‘B’, but I now feel better. I hope by Sunday to be fit for the match”.
In reference to the state of the CD Tenerife team, Bellvís confessed that “I am hopeful to change this bad run. We are only thinking about playing well and trying to play the best we can. We need to play very well if we want to gain points in Granada”.
The blue and white ‘4’, spoke of his thanks to the coaches confidence, “I am please with the trust he has given me”, and commented lastly in the chances to win in Granada, “we will need to work together and make the most of the chances as they present themselves”.
Ayoze Placeres, then talked about being picked for the squad, “Lets see if we have the chance to play whilst we are there”. He talked about himself and the other youth player German who have both been picked for the first time. He continued, “whether we get the chance or not we are pleased, happy and excited to be going. The hope to play for the first team is always there. We are talking about the second division and for our home team. I feel really good to have been chosen”.
Germán Sáenz, to finish, pointed out that “we need to make the most of the chances and give everything. We have worked with the first team and know how hard the demands are physically so we will need to make force ourselves”.

Carlos Bellvis hopes to have the chance to play again.

Carlos Bellvís was the player interviewed on Friday where he started by stressing the importance of the game on Sunday against Alcorcon. “We are all conscious of the importance of this game and we need to move forward. Winning will make everything seem different”.
“The team knows how important the win would be”, continued the Valencian defender “There is no other option. It will be difficult but we are excited. We know that Alcorcón will make difficulties for us but we will need to take the chances that are presented to us”.
To finish, Bellvís talked about his possible inclusion in the eleven, as occurred last weekend against Huesca. “we are working daily as the coach wants, insisting on various different aspects of the game. Lets see if the trainer wants me to play and I can help the team. We can't fail and we will need to be committed to the game, always with our minds on the game”.

"I just hope I get the chance to play" said local player Omar Ramos

Carlos Bellvís & Omar Ramos were the two players who were interviewed in the press room in the Mundialito this Tuesday. Before the Canarian Derby next Sunday. The defender and midfielder were both sure that a victory would make the fans happy and because of this promised to work hard for the game.

The blue and white defender stated that, “the next game is very important for everyone. The Canarian players above all, they have told us of the rivalry at a CD Tenerife-UD La Palmas game. I know how important this is and we would like to win especially in our stadium”.

Bellvís admitted that he hopes “to make good the draw that we achieved in Ponferrada with three additional points. We need to think only about us and our game and go all out to win. We want to bring the fans some happiness. We are playing in the Heliodoro and think we can manage to win”.

For his part Omar Ramos also referred to the derby: “It is a very important game and if we win it will help to motivate us. We know what the game means to the island and the fans. It is different to any other game and we need to beat Las Palmas and go on winning games to move forward”.

The local player couldn't hide his hope to play: “I have the chance to live something that I have always seen from outside. It makes my hair stand on its end just to think about the derby. Lets see if I have the chance to live it this time on the field. Those who get to play need to do their very best as it is such a special game. We play in our stadium, our fans will be there and together we can go all out for the three points”.

Tickets for the game will go on sale from Thursday. CD Tenerife, have declared the game a “day of the Club” game and the cost of the tickets will be 55 euros (Tribuna), 40 euros (San Sebastián), 35 euros (Herradura) y 20 euros (Popular). There will not be more than 4 entrance tickets sold per fan
 
Tickets will be sold on Thursday and Friday in the sales office of the Heliodoro Rodríguez López, between 10.00 . 13.00 and 17.00 - 20.00.

Marc Bertrán, sixth player unable to play in the game against Granada.

Marc Bertrán, with acute tonsillitis is the sixth player not available for the game on Sunday in the Rodríguez López against Granada, a game that the team hope will help them finally abandon the relegation positions.
As well as the Catalan, both Ricardo & Natalio can't play for accumulation of yellow cards, whilst Julio Álvarez still has difficulties with his right adductor , Carlos Bellvís still hasn't recovered from a stretched ligament and Omar Ramos is a query as he has problems with his left hamstrings.
At the end of the training session on Thursday, basque mid fielder Mikel Alonso, in declarations to the press, recognised that Sunday, against Granada, will be a difficult game to achieve the third victory in a row.
"It will be hard, not including that we have won the last two games , they are a complicated rival who today are above us in the table added to that their players are strong and solid, so if we want to win we will have to tighten our game and play well”. He added, “The things are improving and that way results will come but we still need more points to step away from the relegation positions where we are right now. And for that we need to be solid on the field, work to score and do everything right. That way we will be on the way to win more games” he assured.

Tuesday - interview with Carlos Bellvis and Josmar Zambrano

Carlos Bellvís & Josmar Zambrano were the two players interviewed on Tuesday by the press after the training in the Mundalito grounds. The blue and white defender considered that the victory against Elche was important because “these three points are really important. Now we need to play against Nastic and we are now more hopeful".   Bellvís explained that “there are players with five yellow cards and it would seem I now have options to play, but I need to wait and see. We are going to try to play a good game and win again. We need to concentrate on Sunday's game and achieve that win. It was time we didn't receive a goal in a match and we hope to repeat that objective next week”.

For his part, Josmar Zambrano, admitted to being “very happy to have started in the home ground, but above all for the victory for the team. We really needed the win”. When asked about starting for the team he stated that, "it was a surprise and I ran out onto the field with the desire to help the group”.

The Venezuelan midfielder explained that, "generally we played a great game and we achieved the three points. I am really grateful to the coach for giving me this chance. I hope to play more minutes to be able to help the team. Now we need to see how we do against Nastic and with the help of the fans I think we can get going”.

Marc Bertran talks

Marc Bertrán y Carlos Bellvís were the players to talk to the press on Wednesday in the Mundalito press room.
 
Bertrán stated that everyone should remain calm now. "We shouldn't panic but we need to work harder as right now luck doesn't seem to be on our side. The team is ok,the best they can be all things considered. We need to work together and stick together". When asked about Numancia he commented,"They are a good team. They have a strong groupand I am sure they will be a difficult rival. The key is to find our own identity and play that way".
 
Carlos Bellvís, from his side, started talking about his chances of playing on the team again,"I am at the coaches orders. I have paid my punishment and I hope to have the chance to play". When asked about Numancia, he stated, "I have many friends playing there and they are a strong rival but we are at home and need the three points. We know we aren't playing well but we need to stick together and believe that we can win this", he concluded.

Week in La Palma

Carlos Bellvís & Omar Ramos were the two players who spoke to the press on Sunday in the press area at Los Rodeos airport minutes before their Islas Airways flight to La Palma. There they will start their stage of the pre-season training. The two players talked about how they saw the upcoming season and the objectives signaled by the club.

 Bellvis started stating that "my impressions are good. We are enjoying great training sessions, both morning and evening all with the ball. We are getting to know each other. Both the new players and the youths form the second team. We are now going to La Palma to carry on the same routine and work hard." When asked about his health problems bearing in mind that last season he couldn't play at 100 %  he commented "I feel better. I worked during the holidays with a physiotherapist and now I have less pain. I have worked at strengthening the groin area and right now there is no pain. I do have cramps but that is normal at this stage in the year."
He was also asked about Grégory Beranger, the player who he will need to fight for a place to play. "In La Palmas he was injured but in Numancia he played well. Last season he had similar injury problems to me. He is a good full back. What is clear is that this year the competition is going to be hard and that is good for a team".

Bellvís didn't hide the plan for the team, which is clearly that they will fight to go back to the highest level of football in Spain: "We are going to fight to go back up. We need a strong team to go as high as possible. The base is formed and what is certain is I see this as a good group. The players signed seem to me to be the right ones, they add to the squad".

Omar Ramos , "I am starting my fifth pre-season with the club and I will try to do the best I can. We are all happy and working hard. The idea is to be in great condition for the start of the league." the midfielder started, obviously showing signs that the new trainer Arconada wanted the team to show. He commented that the “míster” is a great trainer and that he likes things to be orderly.
Omar Ramos knows that he is one of the great hopes for CD Tenerife in the upcoming season . In his second professional season for the club, having spent the first season in the premier division the player who came up throuth the youth teams explained "Last year was for me a great year but for the club and the team it was not so good. The idea this year is to carry on working hard and hope there are no injuries. We need to charge our batteries so we can give the season our all. I hope to play better this year. To manage that the first thing I need to do is get fit, both for me and for the club”.

When asked about the competition over his place Omar has clear that the fight with Dani Kome will be hard "Everyone wants to play. Competition is good for you. My objective is to train as hard as possible to show the coach that I am fit to play in the team".

Interview with Carlos Bellvis

Carlos Bellvis, took time from his holiday to talk to the club website. "CD Tenerife has great players and is lucky to have the support of the fans" he stated in the interview.



Carlos Bellvís is enjoying his holiday in his home town of Valencia. After his first season in CD Tenerife the left full back is confident that under the wing of Gonzalo Arconada, the team will have a great season in the Liga Adelante.

¿What do you know about the new CD Tenerife trainer, Gonzalo Arconada?

“I have managed to talk to some friends who play in Numancia and they say he is a very strict coach who likes to have everything well organized. He looks that his teams are strong and that the players work hard every day. Anyway we will get to know him better as soon as pre-season training starts.”

¿What do you think of the players who are here now in the club?

“It is too early to talk about the squad for next season, although the players who are here from last year hope to become with the new players who are coming a great team and perform well this year.”

¿Do you expect to see many new faces this year?

“I consider that CD Tenerife has some great players and hope the new ones come as soon as possible as this will help them adapt. There is a long journey to travel and we need to pass it together.”

And your message for the blue and white fans…

“Keep on like last season supporting as you know best. The fans are really important for us. Last season they showed us loads of affection and we hope this season to show them our best side”.

Interviews with the players after Sundays come back from 3-0 to 3-3

Ricardo - After the 3-0 no one thought about a draw but we shouldn't have given away so much. We need to play well from the begining. We could have won this game, They started very strong especially after the start of the second half. Games last 90 minutes. It was time we scored a point away. To score in stadiums like this is important


Angel - It was a shame that we missed that last chance, I had a chance to win the game. Definatively it was a good point especially after how the game played out. The team needed a game like this. We started badly and it is always difficult to come back with a 3-0 in the first division.

Sicilia - After the 3-0 the team found some courage and went for the game. We gained a point in a difficult stadium. In the second half we demonstrated that we were superior. We did a great job. We are greatful for the support from the fans. I wnt to send support ton Chema Sanz. We go home from here happy. Now a rest day and then we need to think about the next game.

Bellvis - The point was important for us because we managed to come back and score the 3 goals something which seemed very difficult 15 minutes into the second half. The team went of and gave it their all and has managed a deserved draw. The game got very ugly but they made their mistakes and we made the most of them. Now with this point we need to do well at the weekend winning against Sporting at home.

Ayoze - The team played for their honor and achieved an important point. With the 3-0 it seemed almost impossible to achieve a draw for this game but we went for it. We have potential and today we have shown again what we can do. I belive the fair result was a draw. Now we need to win against Sporting and I ask the fans to support us to make the Helidoro into a fort.

Preparation for Saturdays game.

After a Day off on Tuesday the team started work towards Saturdays game in Valladolid in the José Zorrilla stadium at 5pm (4pm Canarian and UK time.). The players trained yesterday for 90 minutes in the Mundialito training grounds.
After warming up the players did a round of circuit training with balls. Then they played a series of training games with groups of 4 players and a keeper. The keepers from Tenerife B Toño Ramírez y Dani Mederos were also present for training. The oly players from CDT who didn't train were Dani Kome and Marc Bertran.
Today the team will train in the Heliodoro Rodríguez López from 10 am.

In Interviews after the training


Carlos Bellvís comented that it was their turn to have some joy away, they know that they are visiting a difficult team but if all the lines do their part then a win is possible. " We are going with the idea of winning and don't think any further than the next game."


Míkel Alonso, stated that the team needed to continue inproving to win games "Valladolid if you look at the league tables is a comparable to us although they are playing at home." He also reminded the press that at this level all games are difficult and any rival can complicate things. That Valladolid could be a as difficult or more so to play than Sevilla.

Kome back but injured

Kome was back at training yesterday but has an injured leg muscle and it is questionable if he will play on Saturday.

There were more than 200 people waiting to buy seats for Saturdays game this morning in Santa Cruz. The game is expected to sell out.

In interviews yesterday in the press room at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium Carlos Bellvis stated "I can see a very competitive team and we are capable of staying up. The fans always help us. On Saturday I hope the Helidoro will be full and am sure the fans will be ther to support us on hundred percent". When asked abou Sevilla Bellvis commented that they were a great team with many great players especially their forwards. "We know that a simple error could cost us the game. So we will need to be very concentrated from the first minute onwards."

Sergio Aragoneses started his interview by commenting that they were talking about a very complicated rival, a team that in the last few years has always been in European competitions. "That said," he continued "it is a game that anyone could win. We need to make the most of our chances as they present themselves. We need to go all out to win because the best would be if those three points stay here at home." To conclude he confirmed that the support of the fans will be very very necessary.


Miguel Concepción again affirmed that nothing had been discussed about paying the players an extra payment if they stayed in the first division. He said the players hadn't asked for anything all they need is to go out and win the 45 points the club needed to stay up.
