30,000,000 offer for CD Tenerife rejected

Big news of the day is the possible offer to purchase the club. Ex-player Cesar Gomez has put together a consortium who were looking to buy 40% of the shares. Not clear what went wrong but the present president rejected the offer. There will be a press conference later in the week to state why

Another name wich has sounded for  CD Tenerife via Alfonso Serrano and Alvaro Cervera is forward Alfredo Ortuño, who shone in Segunda last season. He hopes to do pre-season in Granada and convince their trainer Caparros that he should stay but if not he will be oon the transfer list.

Álvaro Cervera is having his best season since 2004 when he trained Castellón in Segunda B. After training several teams the  coach from Equitoral Guinea has guided  CD Tenerife into play-off positions for Primera División with 11 rounds to go.
