The team can come home with their head held high. For 60 minutes they held Barcelona at bay and a draw looked possible. No one can say we gifted this league to Barcelona. The players gave their all for the 90 minutes they played. There just came a time where tiredness hit and Barcelona showed why they really are a world class team.
Tuesdays games mean Valencia will be qualified into third position if Mallorca lose tonight leaving them nothing to play for. Almeria's win means they are in principal safe hopefully meaning they will not play so hard on Saturday. And the Getafe - Sporting draw at least leaves Sporting in our sights.
Tonight we need Real Madrid Atletico Sevilla and Atletic to win to keep all our options open.
