The players were very relaxed and spent most of the time playing chase the ball firstly all together and then in two groups. They finished with a 30 minute game in half a pitch with Alfaro and Bellvis in goal.
At the end of the session Alfaro stayed in goal and Nino, Roman, Sergio and Angel shot goals at him.
About 50 fans had gathered to say goodbye to the players and trainer Jose Luis Oltra.
After the training was the press conference with Santiago Llorente followed by a press conference by José Antonio Culebras. You can hear it here in Spanish. What you can't miss even if you don't understand it are his tears and his heart breaking.
He is immensely sad to leave and had hoped to finish his career in Tenerife. Twice the press broke into spontaneous applause as he talked.
Amongst other things he said "He had passed 4 fabulous years here. And he asks the fans to continue supporting the team as they need to go back to Primera."
In the time he has been in the club he has taken several football coaching qualifications so hopefully one day we will see him back as a coach.
He has apparently offers from Hearts and Wigan in the UK.
I wish him luck wherever he goes as someone as committed to our colours we don't find so often.
