Friday Interview with the coach Juan Carlos Mandiá Lorenzo

Juan Carlos Mandía today in his interview stated "I have the feeling that the team is improving. All of us have more and more of an idea about the way we want to go”.

When asked about the last game he replied, “against Elche they worked hard. We made certain plays into obligations for the players so they can move without thinking and this led to the victory last Sunday”.

The CD Tenerife trainer, also, analyzed the next rival. “Nastic is a team with good players and a great trainer. They can count on experienced players but like us they haven’t started well. In this competition if you don’t start well the punishment is terrible. Both sides need to batten down the hatches and try to play a good game”.

When asked about possible alterations in the starting eleven, Juan Carlos Mandía signaled that “everyone has chances. The players are all as important as each other. All the players count; the ones who start and the ones who come on the field later”.

The trainer from Lugo, left clear his objective for the team “Everyone is making an effort and my aim is to keep the team going, so the players believe they can compete against anyone. I like for the players to compete to play. I never have an eleven for the season”.

To finish, Mandía sent his heartfelt thanks to the blue and white supporters. “The only thing I can do from here is give thanks to the fans. They are showing us how to behave. As they do, we too need to leave our hearts and souls on the pitch. We are going to try to make it so the fans enjoy every game with the team but there needs to be a little patience”, he finished.
