See you in the Stadium.

The blue and white squad are enjoying a free day today, Tuesday and then will spend the rest of the week preparing for the match against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday at 11am. The game against the leader has come at what might be seen as one of the best moments for the CDT team. There have been five games without a loss finalising on Saturday with a win against U.D.Salamanca. The local fans are gearing up their support for this important game, in a stadium accustomed to seeing a high number of fans.
Until now the derby against UD Las Palmas was the game with the biggest draw for the public in the Heliodoro Rodríguez López. Out of a possible 22.699 spectators, there were 20.275 present. The game as the one this coming Sunday will also be played in the morning at 10.00 and the fans have responded well. The blue and white supporters will have another chance to support the CD Tenerife team.
The game will see the team the strongest they have been this season as Antonio Tapia's men go to hopefully a sixth game without a loss. Until now they have seen 5 draws and a win. The points required to leave relegation positions are now only three. That means that Tenerife are in a position to leave relegation with a win on Sunday. The blue and white players know the importance of managing a win at home with their greatest weapon:
One game after another their public have gone to the matches in support of the team in the calle San Sebastián. They did this against Las Palmas, but also on many other games this season. On four occasions there were more than 16.000 spectators (Gimnástic de Tarragona, Salamanca, Cartagena & Numancia) an on a further three occasions there were more than15.000 (Elche, Albacete y Alcorcón).
This unquestionable loyalty, is a motive of pride for all of Tenerife. Against a strong Rayo Vallecano, Tapia's players need the fans one more time to raise their voices for their colours. The club has called for a great morning for football in Tenerife in the Rodríguez López. Tickets will go on sale from Friday morning.
